Willow furniture is made from native willow that is found along the creek beds and swamp areas in South Carolina. Willow is a variety of tree that grows rapidly and is very abundant. A wonderfully natural and renewable material.

Each piece of furniture is constructed by hand, by the same artisan who's been making it for over 27 years. Carefully selected willow is bent into the style and shape of the particular piece, fastened with a ring shanked nail and then kiln dried for 3 days at 135 degrees. Lastly, the piece is fully submerge into a vat of wood sealer and preservative. This will last about 1-2 years before another coating is necessary. Weather conditions and where you place the furniture will determine that need. Insect infestation is a natural occurance with (all) willow furniture. Kiln drying it kills the beatle that naturally inhabits this willow, and ensure it will not be eaten up. In addtion, the kiln drying keeps the finish product from shrinking or splitting and hardens the wood.

Shipping is typically done by using GPX (Greyhound Express) for the larger pieces. GPX serves most major cities in the US and many outlying and small communities. When you item arrives at the GPX terminal nearest to you, you'll need to pick it up from their facility. We stand behind all of our furniture. Of course we are not a large production company, with deep pockets to absorb the cost of accepting all returns. We encourage you to ask questions before you purchase. We do not offer returns for reasons other than errors on our part. We can not be assured that our customers will take proper care of their furniture, or how the weather conditions will effect a specific piece. We recommend that all furniture be protected from weather, and never left in the elements. As a general rule, we'll stand behind our furniture- but review each case individually.

We estimate delivery of your item within 2-4 weeks after the purchase has been completed. Certain times of the year we can deliver much quicker, but the warmer months this furniture is in great demand- and we can only make it at a certain pace. If you need your furniture quicker than we estimate, we need to know in advance and will do all that is possible to accomodate your needs.
